An important payroll tax update has been released for Sage 300.  These changes to tax calculations are required for federal taxes and some states/provinces. These changes have been incorporated into the Sage 300 ERP (formerly Sage ERP Accpac) June 30, 2013 payroll tax updates, which will be available to download on or before June 26, 2013. The following versions will be available:

U.S. Payroll Customers: Version 5.6T, Version 6.0O, Version 7.0J
Canadian Payroll Customers: Version 5.6H, Version 6.0F, Version 7.0E

In order to download the updates, you must have a current Payroll Update Plan (PUP), be a Priority Software Support (PSS) subscriber, or Sage Business Care Gold plan subscriber as of the tax table effective date. PUPs are only available via download.

To Download the Payroll Tax Update and Payroll Product Updates:

1.  Log on to the Sage customer portal by entering your username and password (you must be logged in or you cannot access the Tax Updates). If you need assistance with log on, please contact 1-800-253-1372, option 3*
2. Click Products tab, then Resources
3. 4. Locate the Download Product Updates section
5. Click the Payroll Tax Updates link
6. Read through the “How to install and activate tax updates” article

Important Notice to customers on Version 5.6

As of June 30, 2014, Sage will no longer support updates to version 5.6. This is particularly important to you as Payroll Updates will no longer be provided for this version. If you are currently running on Version 5.6, please contact Acumen Information Systems as 407-965-2411 to begin planning your upgrade.
